PAN PACIFIC SERVICED SUITES, BANGKOK OPENS 1 April 2010 - BANGKOK – Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Bangkok opened on Wednesday, March 31. The property, situated in the Eight Complex development in the district of Thonglor, is the first Pan Pacific Serviced Suites to open outside of Singapore. The property features 148 fully-furnished luxury suites comprising 36 executive suites, 67 one-bedroom suites, 42 two-bedroom suites and 3 three-bedroom suites. Services include airport transfers, grocery shopping and delivery services, and complimentary laundry and pressing services. Other facilities include a swimming pool on the 11th floor, a Pacific Lounge, and a fully equipped gym, spa and sauna. Pan Pacific Serviced Suties Bangkok is also the first such property in Thailand to feature 24-hour personal assistants (PAs).

31 March 2010 - HONG KONG – Preferred Hotels & Resorts, a brand of Preferred Hotel Group, has announced the opening of its first hotel in Shanghai – Les Suites Orient, Bund Shanghai. The Preferred Hotels & Resorts collection features more than 200 of the world's most desirable destinations and newly discovered havens. Opening in April, Les Suites Orient has 168 rooms all equipped with wireless Internet access, iPod dock, stereo system, and DVD player. The hotel features a lounge, a cigar bar, a library and a fitness centre.
WYNN MACAU 31 March 2010 - HONG KONG – Wynn Resorts is set to open its new all-suite boutique hotel, Encore in Macau. The new property is adjacent to its sister resort, Wynn Macau. Encore is scheduled to open in April with reservations now being accepted for dates starting on April 22. Among Encore’s highlights are 414 luxury suites and villas, two new restaurants and a bar, three retail outlets offering over 3,000 square feet of retail space and The Spa at Encore.
FRASERS HOSPITALITY 25 March 2010 - Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd has opened Fraser Suites Seef Bahrain, the first of five properties to come on line throughout this region over the next two years. The 19-storey Kingdom of Bahrain property sets new standards for luxury accommodation in the city, with 91 one- or two- bedroom suites and three penthouses. Frasers said each floor accommodates just eight suites for greater privacy and security. Each apartment is fitted with Herman Miller furniture, a BOSE sound system and an iPod docking station. The new property is the only international-class accommodation with direct access to the city’s exclusive Seef Mall, Bahrain’s premier shopping and entertainment destination. The opening of Fraser Suites Seef Bahrain will be followed in quick succession by the launch of two more properties, Fraser Suites Dubai and Fraser Suites Doha. Another two properties already on the drawing board – in Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – are scheduled to open within the next two years.
HOTEL ÉCLAT TAIPEI 23 March 2010 - Hotel Éclat, a new boutique hotel, has opened in Taipei’s fashionable Da-An district, and is the first new luxury hotel to open in the city for many years. A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the 60-room hotel is home to Éclat Lounge, George Bar. All guestrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art luxury amenities including 42-inch LCD televisions and internet TV keyboards, Bang & Olufsen CD and audio systems, Nespresso coffee machines, Montblanc desk sets and pens, Philippe Starck desk chairs, Riedel glassware and Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries. WYNDHAM 22 March 2010 -Joining the brand’s Wyndham Grand Collection are the 523-room Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Oriental Shanghai, overlooking the Yangpu Bridge on the Pudong; the 316-room Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Furongguo Changsha in Hunan’s capital city; and the 283-room Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale West Lake Hangzhou on the shore of the West Lake. All three properties will be managed by Greater Chi na Hospitality (H.K.) Limited.

FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON 18 March 2010 - A billion-dollar rejuvenation continues to pay off for Four Points by Sheraton, which unveiled on Monday a global pipeline that will ramp up its portfolio by 16 properties this year. Four Points currently operates 148 hotels in 24 countries. In China, three Four Points properties are expected to open in the coming year in Lianyungang, a center of international trade known as China's "east-west freight corridor"; the port city of Taicang, whose thriving economy boasts investment projects from the US, UK, and Germany; and Tai'An, home to spectacular Mount Taishan, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site. Four Points is also scheduled to debut in key markets like Lagos, Nigeria, Bangkok, and the popular Thai resort island of Phuket.
BY MARRIOTT GURGAON 14 March 2010 - Marriott International has announced the launch of the Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon. The launch marks the foray of the Courtyard by Marriott brand into India’s National Capital Region. Located in the heart of the Cyber City, Gurgaon, the hotel is close to Indira Gandhi Airport. The hotel has 198 rooms including six luxury suites, six meeting rooms, a fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, a relaxation center, and a varied range of dining options.
